A specialconfiguration of the ECR thruster has been recently tested for the first timeon a thrust balance. The experiment allows measuring the thrust and the totalefficiency of the thruster, and was compared with previous probe measurementsthat gave only indirect measurements of these parameters. The test wassuccessful, and the results will be published soon.
